Dedicated to hoteliers, restaurateurs, architects, designers and interior decorators, LENGLART Creations and Realisations is above all a family adventure carried out by three generations of enthusiasts, with the textile streak deeply rooted in their genes.
Phillipe Starck and Alain Weil call on Lenglart's know-how to dress their new luxury setting in the south of France.
Aristide Lenglart joins his brother Adrien to take over the reins of the Maison Lenglart, and perpetuate the institution founded by their grandfather André and developed by their parents Alain and Sylvie.
The Ateliers Lenglart dress the Celebrity EDGE, their 50th cruise ship and seal a historic partnership with the Chantiers de l'Atlantique. It is also the year when LENGLART delivers its 10th ship for the Compagnie du Ponant, a faithful partner since 2004.
In 2005, the Barrière Group called upon Lenglart for the textile decoration of their new hotel Le Fouquet's in Paris. Many collaborations followed for prestigious establishments: the Palaces Plaza Athénée in Paris and Hôtel des Neiges in Courchevel, the Molitor hotel or the Sofitel The Grand in Amsterdam.
Adrien Lenglart, Sylvie & Alain's eldest son, is determined to develop LENGLART in the Paris region. He creates the first Parisian showroom of the company and develops a local network of partners architects and specifiers.
In recognition of its know-how and recognized quality, LENGLART is in charge of dressing the suites and common areas of the mythical cruise ship Queen Mary II.
Stimulated by a solid partnership with the Chantiers de l'Atlantique, LENGLART became the first TAPISSIER in the shipbuilding industry. The success is such that the new, more spacious and modern LENGLART workshops are born to meet the exponential demand. It was at this time that Sylvie Lenglart, Alain's wife, joined the company.
Alain LENGLART takes over the adventure and concentrates the activity of the company on the world of Tapestry, not fire, for the Communities and the Shipbuilding.
André LENGLART, painter and decorator of the Nantes area, founded AMI Lenglart. He designs, decorates and furnishes the interiors of the most beautiful private residences in the Nantes region.
